Climb Description
Alto de la Mozqueta is a very scenic climb in the hills of Asturias. The climb from Figaredo is mostly gentle, rising up through a charming old industrial valley, with fine natural scenery. In the last few kilometres see the gradient kick up, but there is nothing too challenging.La Mozqueta has also become a star of the Vuelta in recent years, featuring in both 2018 and 2020 in multi-mountain stages.
Alto de la Mozqueta is usually open throughout the year.

The road is in excellent condition throughout and there is little traffic on the climb.

Alternative Routes
