Climb Description

La Colladiella is a picturesque climb in the hills of Asturias, to the east of Oviedo. It runs parallel for much of its route with the climb to Alto de la Mozqueta, and has similar characteristics, although is slightly easier.

The main difficulty is in the final 4km which average around 9% gradient, but overall, it is not a particularly challenging climb - at least by Asturian standards!

La Colladiella is open throughout the year.

Roads & Traffic

The road is in very good condition throughout and there is little traffic on the climb.

Alternative Routes

The other two ways to climb to La Colladiella are essentially the same as the climbs to Alto de la Mozqueta from Ciañp and Figaredo.
