Terms & Conditions

General

Customers on Cycle Fiesta tours are booking on an active holiday and there are risks involved with this type of travel. Cycle Fiesta does not accept resopnsibility for death, illness or injury of customers on our holidays. Risks include, but are not limited to: traffic, accidents, illness and weather conditions. Cycle Fiesta does not accept responsability for any claims damages, expenses or financial loss resulting from any inherent risks.

All routes are followed at the own risk of the rider and cyclists also use any transportation provided by Cycle Fiesta at their own risk. Cycle Fiesta understands that customers participate in the holiday with no medical conditions that may make the physical activity required in cycling dangerous for them.

Cycle Fiesta reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary of the tour. We reserve the right to choose hotels, change the order of attractions visited or make adjustments to the itinerary.

The payment of the deposit to Cycle Fiesta confirms that the customer agrees to the terms and conditions.

Force Majeure

We do not accept liability for loss, expenses or damage where the booking needs to be altered or cancelled, or where we are unable to perform any contractual obligations as a result of events of 'force majeure'.

Force Majeure refers to any event that cannot be reasonably anticipated, or the result could not have been reasonably avoided by Cycle Fiesta or our suppliers. These events include, but are not limited to, natural or man-made disaster, threat of war, weather conditions, fire, industrial disputes and civil strife.

A deposit of 150 EUR is required to confirm the booking and must be paid within a week of submitting the reservation form. We will send you a receipt for the deposit, confirmation of your reservation and an invoice for the remainder of the tour.

The remaining amount must be paid by six weeks before the start of the tour. Payment can be made to either our GBP or EUR bank account. Any currency conversion charges should be made at the expense of the customer. We also accept credit and debit cards, with no processing fee for these.

Changes

Any changes in the holiday must be communicated to Cycle Fiesta in writing. This includes any changes to group composition or length of the holiday and extensions.

Notice of cancellation must be received in writing. The following charges apply to cancellation of our tours:

We advise that you ensure that your insurance covers cancellation costs.

Cycle Fiesta reserves the right to cancel any guided tour prior to departure due to insignificant numbers of participants (minimum of 5 for guided tours). If the tour is cancelled, customers will receive a full refund of money paid to Cycle Fiesta. Groups running with fewer than five participants may only have one guide, in the support vehicle.

Insurance

Customers must possess adequate travel insurance to participate on Cycle Fiesta tours. We will ask for proof that you have such insurance before the start of the holiday. Insurance must cover cycle touring, emergency expatriation, health and medical cover. We also recommend insurance for all baggage and cancellation for overseas holidays.

Prices

Cycle Fiesta prices are in Euros and inclusive of VAT. Generally, any extras or services not detailed on the itinerary are not included. Please contact us if you require verification.

The binding price is EURO. Conversions on the website are for information only and may not reflect the exchange rate that you will pay. Please check with your bank for exact exchange rates.

No entrance fees are included except where explicitly stated in the tour description.

Transfers

Flights / Arrival to Spain

Cycle Fiesta does not arrange flights and customers are required to make their own arrangements to get to the starting point of each tour. With cyclists coming from many different destinations we believe that customers are better able to find the most convenient flight for them.

Transfers in Tour Description

Cyclists use any transport provided by Cycle Fiesta at their own risk. Transfers will be provided where stated on tours at a time agreed in writing before the tour (usually to coincide with flight arrival). Customers who choose to extend their tour are responsible for transfers to and from the extension destination. Cycle Fiesta will assist with arranging this where possible.

Bicycles

All bicycles hired by Cycle Fiesta are the responsibility of the customer for the duration of the trip. Any damage or loss of bicycles is the responsibility of the customer. On self guided tours, customers are responsible for minor repairs to the bike, for example repairing punctures.

Accommodation

Customers are required to submit their preference for double, twin or single rooms. On most tours there is a single supplement for cyclists wishing to stay in their own room. This is solely to cover the extra cost of the single room. We will try to satisfy all room preferences, however, on occasion a customer requesting a double room may be provided with a twin room.

Luggage

Please note that your luggage is your responsibility. We cannot accept any responsibility for loss, damage or accident which involves property. Please ensure that your travel insurance covers this.

Meals

Continental breakfast will be provided each day. On guided tours lunch and snacks will also be provided. These may consist of food prepared by Cycle Fiesta or going to a local restaurant. If evening meals are included in the tour, these will be at a local restaurant or hotel and will be food typical of the region. Please notify us in advance if you have any specific dietary requirements.

Complaints

Cycle Fiesta always aims to provide holidays of a high quality, with the enjoyment of the customer paramount. We welcome the notification of any problems that may arise either during or after the holiday.

The above conditions and terms of contract and all matters arising therefrom are subject to Spanish Law and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.
