Custom Tours

We have designed our cycling tours to have a great balance between interesting accommodation, beautiful scenery, historic towns and, of course, excellent cycling routes. However, we also understand that cyclists interested in our tours are all individuals and have their own preferences. As a result, all of our tours can be customized to a large extent, to help make it into the perfect holiday for you.

In addition to changing our existing itineraries, you can also create your own. We have organized great cycling holidays all over Southern Europe; so if you have an idea, please get in touch and we can discuss the options.

Immediately below you can see three examples of tours that groups have completely customized with us in Spain and Italy.

And at the bottom of the page you can see some of the factors that we recommend taking into consideration if you are looking to make changes to an existing itinerary. If you would like to make any changes to a tour itinerary please contact us and we can work with you to plan your perfect trip.

The length of the tour

The first thing to consider is how long you would like the holiday to be. On our self-guided holidays we can adapt the itinerary to pretty much be as long or as short as you like. When creating a new itinerary, this can be difficult to decide. It depends how far you want to ride each day, and also if there are any particular cities where you would wish to stay for multiple nights.

Difficulty of the Routes

If you like the sound of a tour, but think that the routes may be too easy or too difficult, let us know and we can usually provide alternative routes to meet your requirements.

Obviously there are some limits on this; for example, it is not possible to do an 'easy' cycling holiday in the Pyrenees mountains.

We are also able to offer partial transfers on some days of our tours, in case that you would just like to miss out the harder sections.

Our accommodation is selected based on a wide variety of factors. We believe it represents a great combination of high quality, without being over priced. However, this is of course subjective to an extent. If you have particular preferences regarding the style of hotels that you like to stay in, then let us know and we can suggest some alternative options that you can take a look at.

Arrival / Departure Point

We have chosen arrival and departure points that are close to large international airports and generally have good train connections throughout Spain. However, if you are struggling to get to the arrival point, we can provide transfers from elsewhere, or can assist you with train times / tickets.

Private Guided Tour

If you would like to do any of our tours as a private guided tour, we would be happy to arrange this for you. Private guided tours are normally available for groups with a minimum of six people (including non-cyclists). Please contact us for more information.

If you would like to stay in a nearby city for a few days before or after a cycling tour, we also would be happy to arrange this for you. A lot of people tend to stay extra nights in the great cities like Seville, Barcelona, Valencia or San Sebastian. But Spain and Southern France also have fantastic beaches, National Parks and loads of other great smaller towns and villages which can add a few really nice relaxing days to the start or end of the holiday.
