Climb Description

Coto Bello is a pleasant cycling climb with challenging, but very consistent gradients over its ten kilometres. The scenery is typically green - like so much of the Asturias region - with fine views over the surrounding mountains.

The climb has featured in the Vuelta a España race, always as the final climb of the stage. In 2010 the Basque rider Mikel Nieve was first across the line here.

Coto Bello is open throughout the year.
