Climb Description
The climb to La Colladona from both sides is popular with cyclists in this part of Asturias. From Cabañaquinta it is a relatively short and steady ascent, but it is still steep enough to provide a challenge if you wish to go hard and put in a big effort.Much of the climb from this side is lined with trees, although the scenery does open up at times. The top of the climb is very picturesque, with fine views looking across to the Nalón valley.
La Colladona is open throughout the year.
There are some excellent views at the top of the climb.

The road is in very good condition and there is little traffic on the climb.
