Mirador de Chirche is a short, explosive climb which gets steeper and steeper towards the top. There are several sustained sections of close to 20% gradient, which will really test the legs - particularly if you then plan to continue on to El Teide.

Mirador de Chirche begins from the TF-82 in Gu&icaute;a de Isora. From here you follow the signs to Chirche - the mirador is a few hundred metres after the village of Chirche.
Mirador de Chirche is a picturesque climb on the fringes of the Teide National Park. The landscape here is more green than in much of the National Park, and the climb also passes by several traditional villages.
From the top of the climb, it is possible to continue on to El Teide, joining up with the climb that begins in El Teide - Los Gigantes.
