Climb DescriptionArtesiaga is an enjoyable climb in the Navarra region in Northern Spain. It follows very quiet roads, leading to a pass under the Sayoa Peak. This is the more challenging and also the more scenic side of the climb with some beautiful views to the forested valley - particularly once you cross the Collado de Meaka in the middle of the ascent.
The excellently surfaced narrow road makes Artesiaga from Irurita a real pleasure to climb.
Artesiaga is open throughout the year depending on the weather. Short term closures due to heavy snowfall are possible.
Other sidesArtesiaga can also be climbed from Eugi. This is a significantly shorter ascent.
