Climb Description

Puerto de Izpegui (or Ispegui) is a medium mountain climb in the Pyrenees, which straddles the border between France and Spain.

The climb from Erratzu is on the Spanish side, and is the slightly more gentle climb, although neither side has particularly challenging gradients. The scenery is in forest on the lower part of the climb, before it opens up with a series of pleasant hairpins near to the pass.

Puerto de Izpegui is open throughout the year.
