Climb Description

Artesiaga is an enjoyable climb in the Navarra region in Northern Spain. It follows very quiet roads, leading to a pass under the Sayoa Peak. The road is forested for most of the climb and so the scenery is largely pleasant rather than spectacular.

This is the easier side of the climb, although it does have some steep sections in the last 2km, just after a short series of hairpin bends.

Artesiaga is open throughout the year depending on the weather. Short term closures due to heavy snowfall are possible.

Roads & Traffic

The road is in good condition there is very little traffic on this climb.
