Climb Description

Urbasa is a gentle climb in the Navarra region of Northern Spain. It heads into the heart of the Urbasa Mountains via a series of picturesque hairpins, before reaching a scenic plateau just before the top of the climb. By itself it is quite easy, but there are several other nice climbs nearby which can be combined to make a good longer route.

Urbasa is open throughout the year; although short term closures are possible in winter following snowfall.

Roads & Traffic

The surface is in very good condition and there is little traffic on this climb.

Alternative Routes

Urbasa can also be climbed from the south on a fairly long and very gentle ascent.
