Climb Description
Passo delle Erbe from Longega is one of the most enjoyable sides to climb. It is very quiet for the most part and offers beautiful scenery, mostly through forest but occasionally opening out to offer spectacular views of the Dolomites. As the profile suggests, it is not an easy climb. Gradients are in low double figures throughout much of the ride, but at the same time, it never gets really steep and so strong riders can settle into rhythm.
Passo dell Erbe is best climbed from May to October.
Roads & Traffic
The road surface is in very good condition throughout. The road is mostly very quiet, particularly at the start of the climb. After joining up with the SP-29 after Antermoia it becomes a bit busy, but nothing particularly bothersome.
