Climb Description
La Rabassa is a challenging climb in the south of Andorra, near to the border with Spain. It can be climbed by two different roads, although both start and finish in exactly the same place. The climb via Juberri is the side that has been ascended before in the Vuelta a España - with Alessandro Ballan winning the first stage finish here. The climb via Juberri is largely in forest and there are few spectacular views - even at the top, which is home to a ski area and large car park. Nevertheless, it is a pleasant enough climb and one which you will certainly feel in your legs.
La Rabassa is open throughout the year, but we would recommend riding it from June to October for the best conditions.
