Climb Description

Radar de Cullera is a short but enjoyable climb which starts from right on the Mediterranean coast. Beginning in the heart of Cullera, you climb steeply to a weather radar on top of the small mountain next to the town. The gradients are consistently steep for most of the climb, before a plateau towards the top. The sting in the tail is the final 200m, which include gradients of 20%.

The scenery here is very open, with excellent views of the coast throughout much of the climb. After about 800m there is a turn off which leads to Cullera Castle, but climbers should continue heading for the radar - both for the views and and the challenge it poses.

Radar de Cullera is open and enjoyable to ride throughout the year.

Roads & Traffic

The road is in generally in good condition and there is little traffic on the climb.
