Climb Description

La Carrasqueta is one of the most famous cycling climbs in the Alicante province, having featured many times in the Vuelta a España. The climb from this side begins from the historic town of Alcoy - the start of several excellent cycling routes around the area and a place which is most famous throughout Spain for its Moros i Cristianos Festival.

It is a gentle ascent, with steady gradients and passes through olive fields and almond groves, with the most spectacular views at the top of the pass.

La Carrasqueta is open throughout the year.
