Climb DescriptionEl Garbí is a hugely popular cycling climb in the Sierra Calderona Natural Park. It is the nearest significant climb to the city of Valencia (less than 40km from the center) and several hundred riders climb it each week. There are several other nice climbs in the area which makes it a good option to include as part of a longer route.
The climb from Estivella is the second most challenging side, with consistently steep gradients, including several stretches above 12%. The scenery is very pleasant on this side, with most of the climb open, offering fine views across the Mediterranean forests of the Sierra Calderona. The views from the top are particularly pleasant.
El Garbí is open and is enjoyable to climb throughout the year.
Other sidesGarbi can also be climbed from Tochar, Náquera and Segart.
