Climb Description

Alto de Teix (also known as El Collao) from Torremanzanas is a short and easy climb which is generally used by cyclists as a link on part of a longer ride, than as a challenging goal in itself. It is well situated between longer climbs like Port de Tudons, La Carrasqueta and Port de Benifallim.

The climb from Torremanzanas is pleasant, ascending through open scenery for virtually the whole climb, and the descent from the top towards Relleu, is very fast and with picturesque scenery.

Roads & Traffic

The road is in very good condition throughout, and carries very little traffic.

Alternative Routes

Alto de Teix can also be climbed from Relleu. This is the significantly more challenging side, and is one of the hardest passes in the area.
