Climb Description
Coll de Creu is a fairly unheralded climb in the eastern part of the Pyrenees mountain range. However, despite its lack of fame, it ascends over 1,000m in nearly 23km, making it respectable by any standards. The gradients are mostly steady and gentle, with no really steep pitches to worry about. The climb is one of the most scenic in the Catalan Pyrenees, with some fantastic views looking down into the gorge, particularly on the lower and middle part.
Coll de Creu can be open throughout the year, but closures (usually short term) are fairly common during winter.
