This is a very easy climb and should prove no problem to the majority of cyclists. It is short and with shallow gradients.
Roads & TrafficThe road is in excellent condition throughout the climb. There is very little traffic on the road, even in July and August.
Climb DescriptionThis short climb begins from the town of Puigpunyent and heads south on the Ma-1032 until the top - in the village of Galilea.
This climb through the southern part of the Trmauntana Mountains is largely surounded by pine woodland and so there are no great views into the distance. However, it is very pleasant and tranquil, and the lack of traffic makes it a really enjoyable short climb. The climb to Galilea from Puigpunyent is open throughout the year.
Alternative RouteGalilea can also be climbed from the south; starting in Es Capdella.
