Climb Description

The climb to es Grau from the east begins at the junction of the Ma-1100 and the Ma-1101, 1.5km to the north-west of Esporles. The climb continues on the Ma-1101 all the way to the top of es Grau.

This is a picturesque climb, passing by some small vineyards and almond fields, before climbing gently to the top of Es Grau.

The descent from the top into Puigpunyent is very technical with a lot of tight hairpins - perfect for practicing your bike handling.

Roads & Traffic

The road surface is in very good condition and is fine for both ascending and descending on a road bike.

There is little traffic on the climb.

Alternative Routes

Es Grau can also be climbed from the other side, starting in Puigpunyent. This is also short, but is the more challenging side thanks to the steeper gradients.
