Climb Description

Azurki from Elgoibar is a pleasant ascent in the Guipuzkoa region of the Basque Country. The first part of the climb is on a steadily ascending road through forests which takes you to the Azkarate Pass (410m). Here you turn onto a narrower road and continue climbing to Azurki - the scenery opens up more here, offering some nice views of the Pagoeta Natural Park in the distance.

Azurki from Elgoibar is a good choice to include in a longer ride and can be combined with several other enjoyable climbs in the area.

Azurki is open throughout the year.
