Climb Description

Baños de Panticosa is a delightful climb in the Spanish Pyrenees, finishing at a small lake near to the border with France. The climb begins from the Bubal Reservoir which is accessed through the first part of the Portalet climb. From here you turn off the main road, ascending through the village of Panticosa, before following a beautiful road which runs parallel to the Caldarés River. At the top of the climb there is a nice lake which is the start of many hiking routes into the surrounding mountains.

Baños de Panticosa is open from April to November and sometimes also through winter depending on the weather in the region.
