A popular option, instead of taking an internal flight is to take the train from Madrid which takes just under three hours and runs several times per day. Please visit the Spanish train website for details of specific trains.
Santiago de CompostelaSantiago de Compostela has a busy international airport flying to many destinations across Europe - including London, Dublin, Paris, Frankfurt, Madrid and Barcelona.
Santiago de Compostela is somewhat isolated in the west of Spain, however, there are regular trains to Madrid, Bilbao and San Sebastian.
